Mile High Resilience & Wellness empowers Black and underserved communities to heal, build resilience, and thrive through culturally responsive mental health education, prevention, wellness, and community connection.
Mile High Resilience and Wellness was founded in 2022 by Harvey Bowden, who recognized the need for attention to the mental health needs of the Black community here in the Denver metro area. Since then, we have provided free therapy for black people in the community, passed out hundreds of narcan kits in the community, and we also do grief circles with black men every last Saturday of the month.
